Welcome to the RAF C-130J Display Team Website! We hope you enjoy your visit.

The Display Team exists to demonstrate the excellent capability of the Hercules and to highlight the major part it plays in projecting UK Airpower across the globe. The aircraft is used in many roles, including: Cargo and Troop transport, Famine relief, Air drop and Aeromedical evacuation.

The Hercules comes in several forms; the K model (or C1/C3) and the newer J model (C4/C5) and they are currently based at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire.

The Display Team uses the C-130 J which is operated by both 24 and 30 Squadrons. It is a modern, capable aircraft with more powerful engines and more efficient propellers than it’s predecessors. It boasts a thoroughly modern all glass cockpit and head up display with integrated communication and defensive systems.
