Administration and Operations Support Team

A myriad of behind-the-scenes work takes place to enable the The Red Arrows to fulfil their commitments.

The Red Arrows’ Team Manager is Squadron Leader Paula J Hunt. Amongst a multitude of other duties, Sqn Ldr Hunt oversees the Admin and Ops Support Team and co-ordinates the squadron diary.

The Administration Team is managed by the Team Adjutant, Warrant Officer John May. John is ably supported by Sergeant Mark Ratcliffe, Corporals Karen McNally, Alex Stockbridge and Debbie Birch, as well as Senior Aircraftmen Simon Miller and Ann Muldowney.

Amongst their duties are meticulous planning for aircrew and groundcrew alike to ensure that flight planning, logistics, travel and accommodation arrangements are all in place for the Team wherever they go throughout the year.

They also cover day-to-day administration from leave passes to careers advice, recording of statistical data and answering questions from any source, responsibilities which are vital to the efficient running of the Squadron. Their role extends away from RAF Scampton as well and at least one member of the Support Team accompanies the 'Reds' on every overseas deployment.
