23rd June sees the launch of ‘Faces from the Blue’ calendarOn Thursday 23rd June Jon Johnston and Sarah Pepper held a launch reception at the AAM Duxford,Cambridgeshire, for their much awaited pilot calendar in aid of two well-known aviationoriented charities – The Mark Hanna Surgical Research Fellowship, Blond McIndoe Centre, which treats burns victims, and Flying Scholarships for the Disabled. This eagerly anticipated event was well attended by both press and pilots alike. There were also representatives
from IWC, the Swiss pilot watch manufacturers who generously sponsored
the production of the calendar, along with Payne and Gunter and Aerojumbles
UK, without which support the project would have been impossible to achieve.

As you may already be aware,
the ‘Faces from the Blue’ calendars have been produced as an individually
numbered limited edition of 2000 copies. On the evening in question, the
first numbered calendar, 0001 was put up for auction and raised the very
