Blue Eagles Team Display – Biggin Hill – 2 and 3 June 2001

In endeavouring to keep you updated as quickly as possible from the Airshow sites of what is happening, the tragic events of Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon were not included in our first report. On behalf of the entire team I would like to express our condolences to the families of all who lost their lives at Biggin Hill over the Air Fete weekend.

Aviation in general and the air display circuit in particular, was the richer for their presence and much poorer for their loss.

Due to the tragic crash of the KingCobra on Sunday afternoon the remaining displays were cancelled. The team departed at 1755 hrs for Middle Wallop.
