First
Blue Eagles Team News for 2005
Hello and welcome to the first of many news items for
this site. Thanks
to Tim Callaway and PC Carson for
the great looking and improved site, it looks fantastic.
The team are getting on well with the training and Wallop resounds
to the sounds of the Gazelle and Lynx doing their thing nearly every
morning and evening, the weather rather hindered us a couple of weeks
ago but WO2 Al Scott, WO2 Ed Smith and
Ray Turner are still working hard to keep us on track. Due to
other commitments we have had to say a sad farewell to Sgt Ronnie McColgan
who leaves us for new and exciting times in a new post, we
all wish him well.
Because of Ronnies departure we have had to reduce Duxford on the 7-9th
to the solo Lynx and Gazelle; we won’t display the full team until
all are happy that it is perfect and totally safe, this should be very
soon and the sign off is already booked. Sgt
Phil Costello has made great inroads with the ground crew and the caravan
is starting to look really good, Andy from our graphics section has
had some clever ideas and people who saw us last year will see a nice
change.
Thank you all for your kind words in the guest book and I look forward
to giving you another update soon
