The Blue Eagles Club.

Another innovation for 2001 is the formation of the Blue Eagles Club.

Over the years the team has built up a loyal and devoted following around the UK and Europe. The aim is to provide an exclusive means of catering for the thirst for knowledge that these fans crave.

It will be administered by a UK based marketing company who will provide a number of benefits for members, amongst which are;

Up to the minute information by means of the quarterly newsletter – The Back Flip.
Club ID and a joining gift pack that includes items exclusive to the club.
Concessionary entrance fee at The Museum of Army Flying.
Discounted prices for Blue Eagles merchandise.

Out of season, events are planned to include lectures from past and present team members, social occasions where members can meet like-minded people. The highlight of the out of season events will be a Club day during the pre-season training week at Middle Wallop, when members will be able to take part in the team’s training at first hand, attend the briefings, watch the practices and meet the new team. Negotiations are also currently underway to permit the lucky few prize-winners at a draw on the club day to try out the Lynx simulator for themselves.

There are four types of membership:

Adult Membership – £20 (Annual fee)

Family Membership – £48 (Annual fee)

Child Membership – £10 (Annual fee)

Associate Membership – £POA (Annual fee)

Serving and past members of Army Aviation are particularly welcome and benefit from a 10% reduction in membership charges.

Associate membership is available only to those who are past members of the team at any time since it’s foundation in 1968. This is naturally also open to members of The Sparrowhawks, The Eagles’82 &’92 and the Silver Eagles(1993 team).
