Blue Eagles Team Displays – The Vauxhall Event at Blenheim Palace – 22nd July 2001

Sunday 22 July saw the team lifting from Middle Wallop to go directly into their display over the magnificent setting of Blenheim Palace. Guests of Vauxhall, one of the companies that supports the Team and enables it to meet all its display commitments, were treated to a first class and very close-in display, courtesy of the layout of the unusual and spectacular venue. There were a wide variety of visitors to the stand, as these pictures show……

Sunday 22nd July – Vauxhall Event

So where were the Team?	In the grounds of the superb Blenheim Palace, complete with local cricket match!

A Gazelle was parked with the stand, and attracted many visitors.	As did the complete array of Vauxhall vehicles on display in the grounds.

A special visitor was Martin Brown of Vauxhall, pictured here with Colin and the Team’s Frontera, a vital part of the ground equipment.	Nick Schuster, one of the many visitors to examine the Gazelle close up.

The stand crew showed many people around the Gazelle, here Colin describes the operation of the controls to Becky Taylor and Amir Hanif of GM.	Sandy Woods visited the stand, and was interested in a career flying with the Army Air Corps. Sharon was delighted to explain the requirements and career options.

Ready to depart at the end of a long day, Sharon suddenly flies the flag of her rugby allegiance, the Tigers!	The Gazelle lifts off in front of the Palace as the Team bid farewell to a very successful show.
