Blur visit the Blue Eagles

As 1998 drew to a close we were visited by some members of the pop group Blur. Why? Perhaps the 1999 display will reveal the answer….! Below are some photographs from their visit. Keep checking the site for a special surprise for Blur and Blue Eagles fans alike

1999 Approaches!

The 1999 season is almost upon us now and preparations are almost complete. The intention, as always, is to ensure that the Blue Eagles maintain their reputation as the world’s most exciting helicopter display team and team leader WO1 Shaun Wyatt DFC has had the uneviable task of producing the exciting 99 display routine. One or two surprises may be in store as WO2 Mark Curry brings his experience of 2 previous seasons on the Gazelle to the mighty Lynx. As last year, we will not reveal the routine on this site until after our first public display! Suffice to say, it’s a corker!.
