Blue Eagles Team News for 2006

Farnborough International Air Display – Farnborough, Hampshire – 22 and 23 July 2006

The Farnborough Air Show lasts an entire week. Monday through Friday the show is aimed at the aviation industry and its military and civil customers. Over the weekend the emphasis changes and the show becomes a public display. During the week the aircraft flying in the display usually new types being demonstrated to potential customers, for the public days, a great many air show favourites are added to the display. This included the Blue Eagles for the first time in a number of years, and the Team made the most of the opportunity. Despite the thunderstorms that swept over the airfield on Saturday, the Team flew what Mark Taliku and Stu Mayor later described as the best display of the year. Sunday’s display was equally good, and flown in much better weather! The highlights can be seen below.
