Display at Leuchars was fantastic. I don’t know much about helicopters, but I’m pretty sure your not supposed to turn them upsidedown! Do the people who build these things know how you guys treat them? Well done anyway, the whole day was excellent and you were the highlight of the show.

I have seen your display at many of the shows. It has got better and better, amazing considering that you have Pinky and Jim down the back end, aka bert and ernie. Well done.

Marvellous Airshow 2000. Superb day out however we had no idea helicopters could do such things. Perhaps a touch of music to add to the drama e.g. Prokofiev’s “Montagues & Capulets”

Saw your display at Leuchars yesterday – well done to all the guys and gals involved. Just when I told my wife (who I was trying to impress with my aviation knowlwdge) that a helicopter cant go upside down, you go and flip the damm thing!! Much more graceful than a Apache. Keep up the great work.

Hi Team-leave it to my husband to not say thank you from Ellarie and I !!! You know how those pilots are!!:-) We had such a great day at the Norwich airshow. You all were just great and were the highlight of our trip to England. Ellarie wears your t-shirt to bed and has your poster hanging on her wall. Special thanks to Sharon for her kindness to us. Kent took El for her first helo ride with Sterling. I remained on land to video tape it. Kent is currently doing some training in southern Germany but is due home in a few days. He is bugging his commander to approve some leave time to come with another UH60 pilot to see your upcoming show in Middle Wallop. So don’t be surprised if you see him lurking around your booth,drooling!!! It is so funny, we played back the video I had taken of you flying around doing your thing, and you can hear Kent’s voice saying…”Oh, I could do that if only they’d let me in the Blackhawk!!” He is so jealous-! Hi again, firstly thank you to all the people we all met at Sunderland over the weekend, all the team had a great time. Sunday was an good day all round. All the guys were pleased that the weather was good enough for a full display. It was great to fly a display in front of such a large and appreciative crowd, displaying over water is always a challenge and this was made doubly so as we all knew that there were a lot of people watching! The display was brilliant although it was better on the sunday as the sky was clear, and i was able to see the flip. What a great show at Yeovilton on Saturday. I took my 4 year old son Luke to his first air show and he was most impressed – he’s a bit of a helicopter nut already ! I was told a long time ago that helicopters CAN’T flip – oh yeah ? Excellent – look forward to seeing you again.

Sorry to have missed your shows this season, just have to put up with the RNAS Yeovilton squadrons over my house, though there is not a lot acrobatically you can do with a Sea King! When are Blue Eagles goodies going to be avaliable to purchase over the Net? It was mentioned on the site last year. Good flying to all the team and have a well deserved break.

Thanks for a fab display on Sunday at Southport. We couldn’t do any of that on Bristol Sycamores in the late fifties ! I am full of admiration and nostalgia.

Thanks for an absolutely superb show at Southport. Your team is clearly very professional and “simply the best”. Everyone held their breath at the manoeuvres. Helicopters can’t do those things. Please come back next year. Only criticism, Southport is Merseyside not Lancashire.

Hi, my computer has been a little unreliable to say the least, anyway after putting Win 98 on about 17 times it now appears to be working. Anyone who knows me, or wants to mail me, please drop me some e mail as I’ve lost all my mail addresses when the computer crashed. Regards as ever Cuz.

Many many thanks to Mark for making our day on Sunday by letting us both get in the Lynx and giving us a quick lesson on how to fly it!…. and we weren’t even wearing spray on skirts!!! (we think it was you Mark from the website photos of the team – apologies if we are wrong!) Now that we know how to start the Lynx and which key is for the rockets, I’m sure that if you were ever short of crew, we could spare the time to help you out and go on a little trip. Seriously, it really made our day at the British F1 GP, and we are just sorry that we were not able to be at Silverstone for the display on Saturday (due to serious lack of finances not desire!). Anyway, as Shoreham is not too far away from us, we hope to come and watch the display in September. Will you turn the Lynx upside down? Hope you had a good flight back to Hampshire…we thought you were going at 4pm!!! The website is excellent and incredibly up to date. I’m impressed.

I am the Historian for the USAF Thunderbirds Alumni Association (TBAA) and try to keep a record of all other military aviation demonstration teams. If any member/s of the team would like to contact me I would love to find out more specific information about the team. Do you ever perform in the United States on special tours? I spent the summers of 1982 and 1983 in the UK and attended many Red Arrow shows. The UK airshows were always spectacular, not just because of the Red Arrows but,the whole package.
