Thursday 01 and Friday 02 August 2002 – Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival

Friday’s weather couldn’t have been more different. A fresh breeze cooled the 240,000 people who gathered along the superb seafront as they basked under a bright, clear blue sky. The Team flew in the morning session at 12:00, and spent the rest of the day on the stand signing a huge number of posters and brochures. Captain Jennie Shaw’s excellent commentary formed the perfect compliment to the outstanding and accurate display. Jennie and Julie also found time for an impromtu dip in the warm sea, much to the delight of the spectators as they remained fully clothed in their flying suits! Once again, the Team made many new friends in the town, and already many have commented that the team must come again next year.
