The Royal International Air Tattoo- 18th to 20th July 2003

The morning of Sunday dawned fair and relatively clear, in fact the cloud was not to arrive in force until the afternoon, so with the Blue Eagles display opening the show again, it looked like we would see our first display in totally clear conditions! Well, such thoughts proved a disaster and the cloud soon moved in, but instead of obscuring the show towering castles of cumulo-nimbus made an impressive backdrop to it all. Large blue holes meant that the light and conditions were just about perfect for photography, and since Keith Draycott, our Chief Photographer, was on hand, enjoy the best of his days work here!
