Guest Day Flights[ Firebird Guest Days ] [ Guest Day Background ] Each guest flies one-to-one in an Extra with a championship-class Firebird pilot. (Indeed, two of our pilots are British Freestyle Aerobatic Champions, one being the current title-holder). The Extras are dual-control, and every guest gets to fly the aircraft themselves. Most end up rolling and looping it themselves (under close supervision!). The amount of aerobatics flown with each guest depends entirely on the individual, and we take it step-by-step when airborne. A few just take a loop and a barrel roll; the majority want to go much further to advanced manoeuvres such as vertical rolls and flicks. A surprising number even want the most spectacular figures such as Lomcovaks and knife-edge tumbles. Regretfully, we will not fly people with known heart conditions, respiratory problems, or a history of stroke.
