Firebird Guest Days[ Firebird Guest Days ] [ Guest Day Background ] [ Guest Day Programme ] The Firebird Team is Britain’s professional civilian aerobatic team. Our main function is display flying, and we perform at all the major air shows in Britain and Europe. In addition to this we carry out a limited number of small, highly exclusive Flying Days for corporate clients. The objective is to make the participants not just guests but part of the Team for a day, and to give them an experience which is absolutely unique and unforgettable. Each guest flies in our highly-specialised Extra 300L aircraft, one-to-one with a championship-class pilot. (Indeed, two of our pilots are British Freestyle Aerobatic Champions, one being the current title-holder). The Extras are dual-control, and every guest gets to fly the aircraft themselves. Most end up rolling and looping it themselves (under close supervision!). The aircraft are equipped with Digital Video systems especially developed for Firebird, so each guest subsequently receives a personal video of his/her own experience.
