The first Team Display of 2004 – The Cosford Airshow – 13th June 2004

The Team flew up to RAF Cosford in Shropshire on Friday 10 June to take part in the Press Day for the Airshow, which takes place on the Sunday. The transit is flown as three pairs, because of the very different cruising speeds of the aircraft, in order that they all arrive together at their destination. The Team then flew a practice display on the Friday afternoon for the gathered news media. Saturday dawned bright, but with a gusty off-crowd wind, so two more practices were flown to take advantage of the excellent conditions, especially for stall-turns! The pictures here show the transit, the hard work of the ground crew between the displays, and the practice displays on Saturday.
