2000 not out! 30th August 2004

Eagle 5, Sgt Nige Harrison, passed a major milestone in his flying career on the trip back from Elvington. Nige received a drenching courtesy of the Defence Fire Service and team-mate Stu Pearce who held the hose pipe (although the competition was fierce to be the hose operator)! The reason for this is that Nige after flew his 2000th hour en route back from Elvington last weekend. A good tradition carried out in the AAC when any pilot reaches a particular milestone and one which Nige thought he would get away with – no such luck mate!
