Blue Eagles Team Displays – The Cosford Airshow – 13th June 2004

The airshow at RAF Cosford in Shropshire was the first major UK display for the 2004 Blue Eagles. The Cosford show is a popular fixture on the UK airshow calendar, and the hot sunny weather brought the crowds out in their thousands. The Team stand was busy all day, and the Gazelle cockpit proved to be a popular attraction with the younger visitors. The display was flown in a perfect summer sky with a slight off crowd wind, marred only by the heat haze that had built up in the bright sunshine. The enthusiastic applause from the large crowd as the Team taxied in spoke for itself as to the quality of this year’s display.
