Blue Eagles Team News for 2007

The Cosford Air Show- 10 June 2007

On the morning of Sunday 10 June it seemed likely that the Cosford Air Show show might be cancelled! A 700ft cloudbase meant that many of the visiting aircraft sould not get to the airfield, and those that were already there may not be able to display, or at least fly a much curtailed version of their routines. However, by midday, things improved enough to allow most aircraft to fly, and by two o’clock you would be forgiven for thinking it was a different day entirely! The Team flew a fantastic display in nearly blue skies, a little hazy but otherwise the best conditions this season so far. As a result, the display was a show stopper, as can be clearly seen in the photographs below:

The line abreast parade in the middle of the display brought the crowd to a standstill.

As did the dramatic breakout from the display, called the Elevator.
