The Unique Back Flip

In the middle of the Blue Eagles Display, the Lynx suddenly performs an awesome manoeuvre. From the hover, Al Moyes pulls full back stick and launches the aircraft into a standing backwards loop, known as the Back Flip. This series of photographs shows you the sequence from pull-up to pulling around on the recovery. Each of the pictures can be clicked on to view the full size image.
