The display stand nestled under the nose of the mighty B-1B in the static park.

Which meant that aviation fan enthusiast and Blue Eagles fan John soon found us!

Alex was soon hard at work dispensing Team memorabilia and sound advice on how to join the Army Air Corps….

….which meant the stand was busy all day, particularly with….

….the Gazelle cockpit with appropriate backdrop as such a strong attraction.

The whole display began with a banner tow reminding everyone of the importance of this year’s place in aviation history…..

….with the Blue Eagles as escort to the banner. A singular honour.

The Team flew an escort formation the length of the crowd line.

Sam and Dave then sneak in at low level to position for the start of the Team display proper.

The Display began with Ray and Chris pushing up through the Gazelles of Kav and Neil….

….who include in their duo display the 90 up/90 down bunts.

The Lynx positions for the heart and backflip….

….as Sam and Dave pull up and break for the Heart under the hovering Lynx.

Ray and Chris really do wring the best from their airframe….

….reaching some unbelievable attitudes in the process.

The four Gazelles then run in for the.. wait for it….

….the alarming Crossover Break….

….which only goes to prove you can fit four Gazelles into airspace designed for one, so long as you are slick about it!

As the Gazelles break, the Lynx flips through the middle, giving us a fine top view.

The final bow also offers the chance for a close up view….

….of the Lynx as it approaches the crowd….

….before leading the Gazelles away to conclude the show….

…..which also allows a close up look at the Gazelle, in this case, Dave’s.
