The Friday practice day from the British Grand Prix at Silverstone 1999, live!

The day started early as Cuz, the Team Manager, and Shaun, Eagle Lead, left Middle Wallop for Silverstone shortly after 09:00 in the solo Gazelle. Arriving at Silverstone, a recconaissance of the site was flown, prior to the main Team arrival in the early evening. Shaun then flew a solo display to Queen’s "It’s a kind of magic" which was televised across the site. Tomorrow, the whole Team will fly a full display, so stay tuned for some outstanding photographs taken in the air by Jez Beynon.

This page shows the air to ground shots of the reconnaisance flight, followed by Shaun’s solo display, and then Blue Eagles fan Joseph Mawby being treated to a tour of the Gazelle cockpit by Shaun.
