Blue Eagles Team Displays – British Grand Prix, Silverstone – 10th July 2004

After the display, the Team had the opportunity to watch the qualifying sessions for the following days British Grand Prix. There was much excitement as several of the leading drivers seemed to have difficulties on the track and a number spun their cars. After the qualifying sessions the Team took off to fly to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire to perform a flypast with smoke as part of the RAF station’s families day. Unbelievably for the British summer, it was only after the final turn for home that the weather broke. Only one rain shower, and that at the end of the day when it could not interfere with the flying! And they say miracles no longer happen….

The Team returned to land on the Silverstone airfield in the centre of the track to much applause.
