Bank Holiday Monday at Southend Air Show 1999, live!

After the disappointment of yesterday’s poor weather, the Team departed initially to Chatham, to perform a flypast at the Chatham Show. On their return, the cloudbase was a good deal higher, and the visibility was far more than was needed for a full display to be safely flown.

This page shows the Team at the seafront yesterday, then at the breifing and returning from Chatham today. Jez Beynon then took the digital camera into the Lynx, and took pictures from inside the display! The full display was very well received by the large Southend crowd, and the Team then returned to the ground display to sign autographs for their many fans.
