Sunderland Air Display – Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July

Sunday. Huge crowd again, only more so! Difficult to get anywhere near the seafront due to the sheer numbers. After the weather problems of yesterday, the day dawned bright and clear, and the temperature soared as the cloud broke into a beautiful day for display flying. Before the main show, the Team had a very special job to do, flying past the Gateshead stadium in salute to the athletes taking part in the Asda Great Northern Millennium Transplant Games. The crowd of excited spectators went wild as the Team flew through, their enthusiasm for the Team matching their enthusiasm for the games! Keith was aboard again for the photographs, and will be again later in the full display.
