Much to Gnomes’ delight!!

Gnomes, meanwhile was busy doing some entertaining of her own.

Cpl Alex Tang decided that Connor could be a potential recruit of the future, so decided to exert some influence.

On the beach, just a short step from the exhibition trailer….

….everyone was making the most of the gorgeous weather….

….filling the length of the display line.

While the “Boys in Blue”, (or should that be yellow?) gave a hand to restrain the enthusiastic crowds around the trailer.

Today was the day that Capt Chris Whipp gained his majority. The second member of the team to be promoted this year!

The conditions were perfect for the flying display that started at 1300 hours opened by the Royal Jordanian Falcons in their immaculate Extra 300s.

Followed by a beautifully presented example of the RNLAF’s PC7 trainer.

Not forgetting those crazy girls on the wing, Marie and Ellie of the Utterly Butterly Team….

….the Stearmans being flown by Mike and Martyn.

Not sure that the flying display was quite that "hair raising".

The Team then flew in to form up along the seafront.

Ray and Chris thrilled the whole crowd with their extreme manoeuvres.

The four Gazelles framed the centre stage of the seafront perfectly.

The unusual sight of the finale over the crowd, how often are an air display crowd swimming?!

One of the late items in the display was the mighty Sea Vixen.
