The Blue Eagles displays at Lowestoft, Shawbury and Blenheim – 31st July to 2 August, 2003

The final show of the weekend, and sadly, of this season for the Team was the "Fly to the Past" Revival airshow held at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. The day dawned bright and clear for the transit down from RAF Shawbury so the Team took the opportunity to get some formation shots on the flight down. Blenheim Palace proved to be a fantastic venue for an air display, the crowd’s view of the flight line was excellent, but this was further improved by several large screens on which all the action was portrayed. The last show of the season turned out to be perfect, earning the Team a standing ovation from the crowd as they formed up to take a bow. Saturday 2nd August

Saturday dawned bright and clear for the transit to Blenheim Palace, near Oxford.	Time to do a little formation practice on the way.
A fine view of the Lynx in flight.	The magnificent English Stately Home kindly provided by His Grace The Duke of Marlborough for the "Fly to the Past" Revival festival.
The Team flew past with smoke on to announce their arrival.	The Team then moved in to line astern….
….prior to landing at Blenheim.	The Red Arrows opened the show, led by Sqn Ldr Spike Jepson.
The Gypo Break is mirrored by the Blue Eagles Crossover Break.	The Reds were followed by The Blue Eagles, Maj Ray Turner showing just what helicopters can do….
….in the right hands!	All shown beautifully on the big screen, down by the lake!
Kav and Neil perfectly positioned in the bunts….	….as Sam and Dave run in for the Heart under the hovering Lynx.

….a dramatic and crowd-pleasing finale.	A wonderful venue at which to display, made all the more perfect by the beautiful weather, and a really appreciative crowd.
