Blue Eagles Team Displays – Mildenhall and Southend – 25 to 28 May 2001

The second day at Southend was just incredible. The sun continued to shine as it had on Sunday, but the clear skies brought with it the penalty of a strong gusty wind, blowing on to the crowd. Despite this, the Team flew their best display this year, a superb exhibition of precision flying. The display was described as "enthralling and exciting, not to mention quite incredible!" by one of the visitors to the Team stand. After the display the pilots headed dwon to the seafront to sign posters and meet their many fans. All in all, a superb day!
