The Blue Eagles displays at Lowestoft, Shawbury and Blenheim – 31st July to 2 August, 2003

Thursday 31 July saw the Team depart Middle Wallop and fly to take part in the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival. They had a busy weekend ahead, with two days at Lowestoft, with a display at RAF Shawbury as well on the Friday and another at the ‘Fly to the Past’ display at Blenheim Palace on the Saturday. The first day of the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival was marked by bright sunshine and with the layered seafront forming a natural ampitheatre for the display the stage was set for a stunning display, which the Team delivered effortlessly! The whole day was marked by superb flying from all of the participants. Little did we know that tomorrow was to bring somehting quite different!
