Blue Eagles Team Displays – Lowestoft, Lyme Regis and Music in the Air – 29th to 31st July 2004

Saturday 31st July dawned bright and hot again, thats three days on the bounce, must be something wrong here surely?!?!?! British summer and hot just don’t seem to go together. The Team were up very early, and the ground crew had driven all night, sleeping in shifts, to reach Lyme Regis for the RNLI show. Before the display, there was an opportunity for the crowd that had gathered at the landing-ground to get a good look at the helicopters and chat to the team about flying with the Army Air Corps. The display was flown over the delightful harbour town, and went down a storm. Now all that remained was to perform a flypast at Larkhill and make it back to Middle Wallop in time for Music in the Air!
