Leuchars Air Display – 16th September 2000

As the weather was so good on the transit back to Dishforth, and the route took us past one of Britain’s most famous landmarks, we thought we would bring you a selection of images from the transit, the later ones caught in the mellowing light of an Autumn sunset.

Richie preflights his Gazelle before depature.	The Team were parked next to the airccraft of the Frecce Tricolori. Here Jim taxys past the spare aircraft.
Before we left, the Frecce Tricolori of Italy displayed…..	….and painted the sky with their flamboyant display.
The Firth of Forth bridge forms an impressive backdrop….	….dwarfing the five helicopters of the Team.
The Team then performed a flypast at Edinburgh airport.	Dom White was properly dressed for the transit!
The Team on approach to AAC Dishforth, landing in low evening Autumn light.	Richie and Tim review the video taken during the day, the comments being firmly censored!
